Knowledge Map of Spatial Planning and Sustainable Development: A Visual Analysis Using CiteSpace

Spatial planning has become an important measure for countries and regions to promote sustainable development. However, there remains a lack of systematic quantitative research on spatial worldwide. In this study, CiteSpace was used perform bibliometric analysis visualization the Web Science core collection China National Knowledge Infrastructure database. It found that: (1) The number papers published in global shows increasing trend, especially after 2018, with showing obvious trend. (2) Globally, United States largest relevant results, Italy most cooperation other countries. highest output is from developed countries, while that developing relatively weak. (3) There some intersection among disciplines, authors but it not strong, indicating should be strengthened. (4) Through keyword cluster, timeline, time zone analysis, development can roughly divided into three stages: first stage characterized by study system theory, second building green infrastructure providing ecological services, third emphasis public participation establishment justice mechanisms.
